From 12 to 16 October, Frezite tools were highlighted at Wood Tech, the most important trade fair for the woodworking industry in Turkey. Konsep Makina, Frezite's distributor for the Turkish market, took part of it. This dealer is a regular exhibitor at this event, which is held annually at the Tüyap Fair Convention & Congress Centre, in a recommendable partnership.
The participation was done to renew energies in a market where Frezite made its debut as an exhibitor in 2009. The 15th edition of Vietnam Wood, the leading regional trade fair for woodworking industry in Vietnam, was well attended. Frezite's Vietnamese distributor, a partner for growth in that Asian market, also took part in the event, which took place between 20 and 23 September at the Saigon Convention and Exhibition Centre.
To better publicise its presence in the Mexican market, Frezite's Wood Division made its debut at the Tecno Mueble International trade fair, which took place between 16 and 19 August at the Guadalajara exhibition centre. Having been selling to the South American market for more than two decades, the group opted to take part in this event to increase brand awareness and better publicise its cutting tool solutions in the non-metal area. Frezite has had a branch in Mexico for a decade, operating in the metal sector.
A regular presence in the main competitions of the sport, Frezite is once again associated with the European Roller Hockey Championship that took place in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, Catalunya (Spain), between 17 and 22 July 2023. The Madeira Division brand was highligthed on the pavement of the event that was broadcast on several televisions from different countries in southern Europe, where the sport is very popular. Frezite is a reference supplier of tools to produce hockey sticks and is committed to ensuring an agile and efficient service to its customers, also a requirement of this sport.
The Frezite branch in Brazil participated in an awareness-raising lecture on the care to be taken with tools, namely polycrystalline diamond tools, and their applications. The action was promoted this month with a customer that is considered a reference in the supply of bathroom furniture in the Brazilian market. It is Frezite, promoting its role as a cutting-edge partner.
The quarterly sales meeting was held at Frezite’ s premises in Trofa on 7 July. Close to fifty participants, mostly members of the sales teams from Portugal and Spain, had a morning dedicated to safety training and to the technical presentation of a partner. The decision to get to know Frezite – the latest addition in Walter – brought the Nordic team to Portugal to find out how its products can support the business in the Nordic region, especially within the Aluminium area. With the team spread across three countries: Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, this trip was also to celebrate the great results achieved from the Nordic team in 2022 and an opportunity for team building spirit. They also learnt about the team and facilities of FREZITE, in Trofa. Step by step, the teams from Frezite and Walter are getting to know each other and develop group synergies.
Walter Management Team travelled to Portugal to meet the Frezite Group's team and facilities in Trofa, Vila do Conde and Porto. Since the summer of last year, Frezite has been part of Walter and both teams are working together to better promote the group's synergies. The visit, which also involved combined meetings of the Walter and Frezite teams, took place between June 12 and 15 and was considered "a big success" by the Walter President and CEO Christoph Geigges.

The event, which took place between 15 and 19 May, provided the long-awaited re-encounter with customers and partners and served as a motto to communicate the repositioning of the brand as "Your Cutting Edge Partner". The team discussed sales strategies for the next quarter, sharing the news of the catalogue it is finalising to optimise customer service. For two days, the technical consultancy team of FREZITE in Brazil gathered for training and sharing experiences and knowledge. The annual meeting of FREZITE's sales team took place on February 9th and 10th. An investment made by the Brazil branch to provide the best technical consulting service to the market.
The employees gathered, once again, to participate in the S. Silvestre Porto race. The 28th edition of this event, held on January 8th, in the streets of the “Invicta” (Invictus city) as is known Porto, the Group was represented by employees from FREZITE, SERI and FHP. With some access difficulties to the race, in this event, FREZITE had 15 representatives in the 10-kilometer race and two employees who participated in the 5-kilometer walk. They promise to return.
